Paul Bernon

Paul Bernon, Partner and Co-Founder, Boston

Paul spent the early part of his career as a Managing Partner for a Boston-based real estate firm before entering the film business. Paul has served as a Producer for Forest Street Productions and Beacon Productions, where he was on the production team for the PBS show, BODY AND SOUL.

Paul graduated from Boston University with a degree in Film Studies, and has a Master's degree from New York University. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America.

Sam Slater

Sam Slater, Partner and Co-Founder, Boston

Though Sam spent the early part of his career making his mark in real estate, he has forged a prolific career in entertainment, producing over 25 films.

Sam graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America.

David Bernon

David Bernon, Partner, Los Angeles

Prior to joining Burn Later in 2013, David worked in development at Overnight Productions, and was part of the team that produced Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE, as well as Darren Aronofsky’s Academy-Award winning BLACK SWAN. David also spent time working at New Line Cinema and Sony Pictures Classics.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild-AFTRA as well as the Producers Guild of America.

Chessy Prout

Chessy Prout, Creative Executive

Prior to joining Burn Later, Chessy authored the memoir I Have the Right To and co-founded a national nonprofit of the same name. She is an internationally recognized public speaker and has appeared in Seventeen Magazine, Bustle, Cosmopolitan.com, and Bloomberg News.
